Gallaghers - Restaurant From 1970', 1980's Gallaghers was a chain that had restaurants in SA, I-35 Windsor Park, I-10 and Wurzbach, Tidwell and 45 in Houston, Beaumont, Richardson. We must not think that. I knew about this place, but never went there. I knew John's Sea Foods as Captain John's Oyster Resort. With red, blue and green color-themed rooms, Christies was known for its remoulade sauce on French-fried shrimp. Ouch! Speaking of, I know that Ray's now married to Jonni Hartman, and is Lisa's step-father, and Clint Black's step-father in law, but does he still perform anywhere? By the early 1970s, Farrell's had grown to 58 locations nationwide. I recently came across a 1980s-era book on menus of Houston restaurants, Houston Epicure A Menu Guide to the Better Restaurants in Houston by Fran Fauntleroy.
